What is the IgG factor?

The IgG factor is used to relate the amount of immunoglobulins in bovine colostrum to human breast milk. The factor tells how many class G immunoglobulins (Ig-G) the potential product contains compared to human colostrum. For example, an IgG factor of 40 states that bovine colostrum contains 40 times as much immunoglobulin G as the comparable amount of human colostrum.

This factor is important because 90% of the antibodies contained in colostrum belong to the IgG class.

Bovine Colostrum Ingredients

What ingredients are contained in Bovine Colostrum?

Bovine Colostrum is an extraordinary composition of more than 400 nutrients and vital substances that cannot be reproduced artificially and is therefore of incomparable value for us humans.

Lactoferrin2022-06-30T11:43:37+01:00

possesses on the one hand (in vitro) a strong effect against all kinds of microorganisms, on the other hand it is essentially involved in the formation of various immune components.

Lactoperoxidase2022-06-30T11:43:41+01:00

repels bacterial infections caused by various microorganisms and is also effective against viruses. However, a direct effect on tumour cells has so far only been confirmed in in-vitro experiments.

Oligosaccharides2022-06-30T11:43:45+01:00

highlight types of sugar that act as “false” receptors for viruses and bacteria and consequently prevent them from docking with our body cells. They also support the effectiveness of natural killer cells and promote the microbiome.

Gangliosides2022-06-30T11:43:50+01:00

are primarily involved in the development of the various cells. They also have a positive effect on beneficial intestinal bacteria, such as bifidobacteria, which are an important part of our immune defence.

Cytokines2022-06-30T11:43:54+01:00

are by definition regulatory proteins that also contribute to the corresponding immune response, modulate or inhibit inflammatory processes and unfold their effect in interaction with other colostrum ingredients.

Proline Rich Polypeptide (PRP)2022-06-30T11:43:58+01:00

stands for “proline-rich polypeptides”, which play an important role in biological processes – but PRP’s are also of great importance in connection with our immune system or the growth of nerve cells.

Amino Acids2022-06-30T11:44:03+01:00

play an important role in the metabolism and regeneration of cells as vital protein building blocks. Because a sufficient supply of amino acids contributes significantly to our physical and mental performance.

Immunoglobulins2022-06-30T11:44:08+01:00

are a very important component of our immune system as antibodies, effectively fighting infections caused by bacteria, viruses or fungi. The immunoglobulins contained in the bovine colostrum can also be used by humans.

Natural Growth Factors2022-06-30T11:44:12+01:00

are involved in regulating many growth and development processes of our body cells – they accelerate, inhibit or stop cell growth and therefore perfectly balance the cell metabolism.

Vitamins2022-06-30T11:39:42+01:00

possess a multitude of positive regulating properties for our organism. Among others, the vitamins A, B1, B2, B12, C, D and E contained in colostrum are of particular benefit to us humans.

Lactoferrin2022-06-30T11:43:31+01:00

specifically has an effect against microorganisms and plays an essential role in the formation of our immune system.

Immunoglobulins (IgG)2022-06-30T11:39:51+01:00

also called antibodies, are an important part of our immune system and ward off viruses, bacteria and fungi in particular.

Growth Factors2022-06-30T11:39:58+01:00

regulate the growth and development of our cells and are indispensable for regenerative capacity.

Vitamins2022-06-30T11:40:00+01:00

are needed by the body for vital functions – colostrum contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, D and E, among others.

Amino Acids2022-06-30T11:40:05+01:00

are building blocks that our body uses to produce vital proteins for cell metabolism and regeneration.

Proline Rich Polypeptide (PRP)2022-06-30T11:40:09+01:00

has a balancing effect on the function of our immune system and is particularly important in autoimmune diseases.

Cytokines2022-06-30T11:40:14+01:00

are essential messengers for communication between cells and work synergistically with other colostrum ingredients.

What are the benefits of Bovine Colostrum?
